Flâneur no Largo
Sempre apreciei o centro de Curitiba, especialmente na região do Largo da Ordem, e rotineiramente sempre registrei os detalhes que cruzavam meu caminho. Desta vez, munido de uma câmera melhor, pude explorar ainda mais a visão que tenho da realidade ao meu redor, convidando o observador a refletir sobre a efervescência de emoções e narrativas que permeiam as ruas do centro de Curitiba, essas fotos capturam instantes efêmeros e cotidianos. O propósito desta série foi percorrer as ruas (Flâneur) e imortalizar um domingo comum no coração de Curitiba, buscando a riqueza de detalhes em prédios, objetos e nas pessoas que compõem a trama cotidiana da vida urbana. Apesar das cores vibrantes, Curitiba ainda mantém uma certa frieza, criando uma dualidade que busquei incorporar, seja nos elementos capturados, nas paletas de cores escolhidas ou nas sombras que se projetam. As fotos passam um ar de decadência e abandono em certos momentos, e ao mesmo tempo parecem querer te contar alguma história. A felicidade boêmia despreocupada, a pizza descartada, o músico sentado no chão com seu violão, e a riqueza de detalhes convertem o simples passeio em um mergulho nas múltiplas facetas da vida citadina.
I've always appreciated downtown Curitiba, especially in the Largo da Ordem area, and routinely captured the details that crossed my path. This time, armed with a better camera, I could further explore the perspective I have of the reality around me, inviting the observer to reflect on the effervescence of emotions and narratives that permeate the streets of downtown Curitiba. These photos capture fleeting and everyday moments.
The purpose of this series was to wander the streets (Flâneur) and immortalize a typical Sunday in the heart of Curitiba, seeking the richness of details in buildings, objects, and the people who make up the everyday fabric of urban life. Despite the vibrant colors, Curitiba still maintains a certain coldness, creating a duality that I sought to incorporate, whether in the captured elements, the chosen color palettes, or the shadows that project. The photos exude a sense of decay and abandonment at certain moments, yet at the same time, they seem to want to tell you a story. The carefree bohemian happiness, the discarded pizza, the musician sitting on the ground with his guitar, and the wealth of details turn a simple stroll into a dive into the multiple facets of city life.
